New Chairman for the Hatchery

Published on: 15/04/2010

New Chairman for NLHThe Lobster Hatchery has never had such a rich mix of experience amongst the Board of Trustees.  There are currently 14 members on the Board of Trustees and all of them come with their own wealth of knowledge and experience to support the charities work.

Rear Admiral Alec Weir has been one of the longest standing board members and has done a fantastic job as  chairman over the last two years. Alec, however, has decided to hand over the role of Chair to Bryan Coode at todays AGM.

Bryan Coode joined the Board last year, and is keen to drive the Lobster Hatchery forward in what we hope, will be exciting times ahead.  We have just completed the feasability study and architect plans for a £1 million expansion to the visitor centre and laboratory facilities - all we've got to do now is raise £1 million and get planning permission!
