Adopt a Lobster RELEASES

Lobster releases in CornwallAdopt a Lobster was launched in 2004 and has gone from strength to strength.  Last year alone 5000 lobsters were adopted!  Your donations go directly towards the cost of raising and releasing our baby lobsters.

The following lists give details of people who have adopted hatchery reared lobsters, and the sites where those lobsters have been released back into the wild.

last updated 13/1/09 (updates are published quarterly) All 2009 releases have been allocated now so we are waiting for 2010 lobster season to start. We normally get broodstock in March and start releasing May / June after the juveniles have had time to grow on in the hatchery.

Looking for ethical Wedding Favours...

something a bit different!  Adopt a Lobster for all your guests. You could have some fun making up lobster names for all your friends and family (perhaps a blast from the past).

In addition to the certificate we've got options for a little gift to go with it; either the small sparkly sand lobsters to brighten up your tables or a beautifully wrapped box of two Cornish Vanilla chocolate love hearts.  We would love to make your day special. Contact us by phone or email to discuss your personal requirements.

We will publish on our website where and when your lobster was released, but you will have to wait a few months for your lobster(s) to grow big enough.
