Research
“We welcome students applying
to carry out relevant research projects at the hatchery.”
Research into marine hatchery work is one of our key aims. Whether
it be analyzing aspects of lobster behavior or investigating the
optimum dietary composition for larval lobsters, we welcome students
applying to carry out relevant research projects at the hatchery.
Since the NLH opened in the year 2000, we have been developing
relationships with universities, colleges and other marine conservation
and research institutes.
We have hosted numerous students from a diverse range of courses
for work experience placements and have worked with the University
of Plymouth to provide facilities for postgraduate students to carry
out their masters degree research projects with us.
