Britain’s only inland fish and live music festival is coming to Northampton for 2013.
The inaugural Crabstock was held last April in Great Rissington, in the Cotswolds, to great acclaim, and visitors to the second edition of this unique event are promised a memorable weekend of top food and music as well as on-hand expert advice about cooking and eating Great British shellfish.
Matt Ayres, professional chef and one of the festival’s founders, says: “Crabstock is a lot of fun for all the family, but it’s also about teaching people about the health benefits of eating Great British shellfish as well as the social and economic importance of supporting the country’s fishing industry”.
Anticipating many thousands of visitors to Crabstock 2013, the organisers have been working tirelessly to assemble a fun-packed line-up of events and surprises, alongside dozens of seafood stalls and vendors.
Some of the funds raised will be donated to The National Lobster Hatchery, for which we are very grateful.
The event is FREE to enter, and you only have to book tickets if you wish to go to one of the pop up restaurant events over the weekend.
