We’re really excited to announce we will be having award winning photographer Lewis Jefferies displaying is work at the NLH!
Lewis is an award-winning photographer & camera operator from Exmouth in Devon. Originally an automotive mechanic, he left his career two years ago to follow passions in photography and filmmaking; now studying Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University. An advocate for nature and conservation, he is equally passionate about life above and below the water. A broad portfolio spans from underwater and macro to landscapes, aerial and commercial photography. He is currently working on both stills and video commissions, and volunteers for the National Trust in his spare time.
We first heard from Lewis last year when he came to the NLH to produce an amazing articles on the work we do (Check out the example below!) –
He also took some brilliant photos of our lobsters which you can see at the exhibition!
Lewis’ work varies as he photographs everything from incredible landscapes, wildlife, surfing and even produces beautiful documentary photos too. However – We particularly fell in love with Lewis’s collection of Underwater photos – Not only does he capture stunning creatures across many oceans, he has a beautiful way of showing some of our incredible native creatures that we can find right here on our doorstep.
The Exhibition will be running until Mid July 2019 and is included with entrance in to the Hatchery!
Don’t miss out on the chance to see Lewis’s incredible work and learn all about beautiful marine life.
