Lobster release on the Ile de Re

This week Dom and Ben packed up 3,600 baby lobsters and set off to France!  Two film crews were waiting for our arrival on the Ile de Re bridge, to film our gleaming lobster van arrive.   The little lobsters were off loaded and kept overnight in tanks; a short breather before being released off shore around the point of Ile de Re, with the help of local divers.

The local government scheme on the Ile are investing in and restocking their marine environment.  Our lobsters are just one piece of the jigsaw of their marine action plan.

They have sent us this short film – you may need to put your French hat on!
