PEOPLE'S POSTCODE LOTTERY
Lobster Visitor
Postcode Local Trust is a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Our project received £20,000 in 2017 from the Trust to build upon the visitor centre by developing a new exhibit of photos, installing a set of three dimensional models and installing new exhibitory. The Charity will also re-develop a book on lobsters, develop a leaflet and re-develop its website.

'Lobsters to Life' ~ with funding from The Tanner Trust and a contribution from The Carew Pole Charitable Trust we were able to buy and install a new Kreisel tank in the Visitor Centre. It offers a fantastic close up experience of the lobster larvae.

With funding from The Tanner Trust and a contribution from The Carew Pole Charitable Trust we were able to buy and install a new Kreisel tank in the Visitor Centre. It offers a fantastic close up experience of the lobster larvae.

We have been awarded a grant from the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) from their European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) to install a new hatchery in two shipping containers at Newlyn Harbour, with the capacity to produce 20,000 juvenile lobsters per year.
